This easy string trio arrangement of popular Christmas Carol, "Silent Night", is designed particularly for students who have been learning for 1-2 years. Violin 1 has the melody throughout and is about a Preliminary Grade standard. Violin 2 is a harmony part and could be played by someone of about Grade 2 standard, equally suitable for a teacher or a violin-playing friend, sibling or parent. The cello part is also kept simple, at about a Preliminary standard. Great for exposing young students to the joys of chamber music!

Guitar chords have been included on the Cello part, which could also be used by a pianist. Why not make it a quartet - 2 violins, a cello and a piano or guitar? Lots of options here for Christmas cheer!
