This easy string trio arrangement of popular Christmas Carol, "O Holy Night", is designed particularly for students who have been learning for approx. 2 years. Violin 1 has the melody throughout and is about a First - Second Grade standard. Violin 2 is a harmony part and could be played by someone of about Grade 3 standard, equally suitable for a teacher or a violin-playing parent, sibling or friend. Cello has the bass line and is suitable for a student of similar level to violin 1 - no extensions, slurs or tricky rhythms. Dotted slurs are optional.

Guitar chords have been included on the Violin 2 part, which could also be used by a pianist. Why not make it a quartet, 2 violins, cello and a piano or guitar? Lots of options here for Christmas cheer!
